Beijing: Return to the Zhangs

I had dinner with the Zhangs again the next day and here are some of the sights I saw along the way:

Apparently Chinese children experience a measure of "freedom" that their "pampered" American counterparts do not!

These guys were playing Chinese Chess at the bus stop. 

This lady was buying sugar cane. the guy stripped the bark, cut it to length and it fell right into her bag. It was clear he had done it hundreds of times before!
