Beijing: Forbidden City details (part 1)

These are the images I took of details of the Forbidden City. The interesting things is that once you enter the east side, and go past the gate that you have to pay to go in, you have to go through to the west side to leave (you cannot go back the way you came). It is very large and so you want to plan for some time to get through. Also, there is food inside, so you won't starve or parch before you get through (as long as you bring money to buy some) as well as facilities (I did not use them; I was fortunate enough to never have to use a public bathroom while I was in Beijing except for when we were at the Olympic Park, and that one was pretty much like the ones at home).
