Princess Islands: Heading out
On day four of my trip, we decided to go to the Princess Islands. We had to take a ferry over and, as usual, the seagulls followed the boat. This is also when I realized that my M8 was not recording images, and I switched over to my Panasonic Lumix GF-1. You can tell when I switched over to the Leica 50mm Summicron because the images have a different rendering: less saturated and also less contrasty then the Olympus 17mm/2.8 lens I normally have on it. I admit to being surprised when looking at the images on my computer how different and almost painterly they looked.
This is the first image after I changed lenses, can you tell the difference?
