90 Elmar test

I have a Leica 90mm Elmar (F4) lens that has some lens separation problems. It manifests itself as a cloudiness when looking through the lens (off of the camera). I was thinking about replacing it, but decided to do a test to see where the problem shows up. Looks like as long as I don't shoot into the sun, it can still make some great images. Unfortunately anything facing he sun or even 90 degrees or closer, the constrast dies away to nothing! So....what to do, huh?
