Two things to keep in mind (maybe three): one: I love my peach trees. Two: the peaches are really tasty, although I don't get to eat many of them. Actually that's not why I love them anyways, I love to watch the peaches bloom and little tiny peaches grow into their own. Even though, ants and other insects get most of them, I still feel like I am contributing to the circle of life to some extent, and the few I actually get to before them are that much sweeter. My peach needs are small, so I am content to share with the same nature that sneaks me a few each year for my enjoyment. I know I could use pesticide and get a higher yield, but where's the poetry in that?
