When I drove up to this on my way to Smithfield, my first thought was, "oh no! FOREST FIRE! " but it tuned out to be a controlled burn that I would guess was to clear out the fields before planting. It was an amazing sight to behold and my pictures do not do it justice, either to the sight or the heat coming off of the fields. I was amazing to behold!
