SOFTBALL ! ! ! !

This is a game where a team from my employer played the team from my friend JC's new employer (congrats on the new job, JC). He wasn't there, but just as well. He has no bat anyway!  :P

Their Biggest Little Fan!

Team II was supported by their biggest little fan! The daughter of one of the players, she sometimes comes with her mom to watch "daddy win the game!" She always wears the brightest outfits and the prettiest smiles! Oddly enough, she somehow seems to make it into the photos of the team taken on game days. I wonder how that happens!

RTP League Softball championship

Last Thursday, 2 teams from the same company met for the third time to decide the RTP League Championship in Softball. Team III jumped out to a six run lead in the first inning, but team II closed back to within 4 at 10-6 at their final at bat. By the time Kyle stepped up for his final at bat, the score was tied with 2 players on base and 2 outs. Kyle closed it out in grand style with a walk off homer after flying out just ten feet short twice earlier in the game. What a dramatic, come from behind, victory! I was pretty much spent, but stayed for the celebration afterwards!
