Time to Protect the Peaches!

The blooms have gone and there are little baby peaches on the trees so it is time to spray them for bugs. I refer the kind that you attach to the garden hose because there is no mixing and measuring. You just connect the hose to it, start the water and go!

 I use a lawn and garden pesticide for the entire back yard and a garden pesticide for the trees themselves. That way I not only eliminate bugs on the trees, but also bugs in the backyard and bugs by where I park my cars. Last year I used Bayer Complete, but I decided to try something new this year.

Hopefully, I will get a good yield of peaches this year and that means plenty of peach jam!

A Passage to Istanbul

Here are some pictures from my flight into Istanbul, since I had an internet connection, I thought I would share a few.

It was long, but I highly recommend Turkish Airlines if you go.

They really take good care of you!

I had problems getting my CPAP machine to work with the power here. The power inverter I got back home at Walmart was not up tothe task and threw the circuit breaker and almost melted down, so I have to solve that problem today. I did not get a lot of great sleep, but I am awake and ready to start the first full day of my vacation in Istanbul.

The flowers were lovely, but I could have watched the Koi for hours!
