Soup of the day

Since I had time today, I decided to make something healthier then fast food or grab and go food. The ingredients are:

Turnip (chopped)
Spinach (chopped)
Hot dog
Day lily
Mung bean (twice washed)
Chicken (I cooked before I put it in. Raw chicken is dangerous)
Noodles

I just put it all in (except the noodles) and brought to a boil. Then added the noodles per instructions. I thought it would be smart to make it convenient to eat something real while I was on vacation!

Salad days are here again!

I thought a nice colorful salad would round out my work week nicely!

Fueling up!

This week, I only have to work today and tomorrow, so I am excited to get as much done in these two days as possible. So I am well prepared to have a productive week!

Ninja scooter

While waiting at a stoplight, I saw this man in the next lane. He looked normal enough until I saw the samurai sword slung across his back. It was cool looking, looked like the handle and scabbard were intricately carved,  so I took a few pictures!

The morning after Christmas!

And it is a lovely day! Cold, but lovely. Tucker must have had a good night as well, because he didn't make it back into his house, but spent the night on the doorstep!

Moth

I saw this moth on my way out the door to work. I was a few minutes later on my way when I finally got into my car, but I was happy to have captured this moth as I have never seen one with quite the same colors. Pretty, but it still was too creepy to touch.
