On the way out the next day, we dropped off some pizza for the street cats. you just had to call them and they showed up. "psss psss psss" and they came a running. They liked the pizza and tore right in. It is good to be kind to others in this world.

Working on the Night Moves
Here is some images of Istanbul after dark. Not sprawling night clubs, but just the bustle of people trying to make it home and the quiet of a residential neighborhood on a weeknight...oh yes... and more cats!
Here's another hand cart. I think these cart are fascinating. they fly down the street faster then I do unladen!
odd but very cool fact: I never saw the little fellow on the stairs until I got back and was looking at the images on the computer later that night. Even when I am not photographing cats per se, I seem to be photographing cats!

Acibadem and More Cats
Another stroll around the streets of the Acibadem neighborhood, and what do you know? more cats!
I have seen guys (and ladies) carrying these hand trucks. I find them very interesting and try and get a good picture when I can. I am told these people are Roma and are collecting things to recycle, so I do not wish to anger them unnecessarily, but I find them intriguing nonetheless.

The Cats of Princess Islands
I like to take pictures of cats. I think because they do not change their action when they see a camera. They are always and everywhere themselves.

Acibadem in Color
The same walk as before, but in color. I shot both sets of images at the same time, but they are not copies. I shot the black and white and the colors images as separate exposures instead of stripping the color out to make them black and white.
